The Open Bible National Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Brian P. Ehlers has been appointed to serve as Open Bible’s next secretary/treasurer.

Brian has most recently been serving as executive assistant to Tom Rupli, East Region Executive Director. Prior to entering ministry, Brian served as vice president of a financial investment company and was registered as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). That experience coupled with his background as a pastor, trained church planting coach, and executive assistant for East region has uniquely prepared him for his new chapter of service.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a major in business administration and finance. He also earned a Master of Arts in Theology from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

“I had the privilege of working closely with Brian Ehlers for a number of years in East Region,” said Randall Bach. “I know well his character, integrity, passion for the Lord, commitment to serve with excellence, and pastor’s heart. He will be a blessing to all of Open Bible Churches.”

Brian will start orientation on May 1, 2017, and assume full responsibility for the secretary/treasurer duties when Teri Beyer retires at the end of June. He said, “I am looking forward to working with the national office team. My heart is to work with the team to help resource Open Bible ministers and potential Open Bible ministers with tools and national office systems that will help them become everything God has called them to be.”

Brian and his wife, Darcy, delight in raising twin daughters, Hannah
and Abigail.
