Font Size » Large | SmallDarrick Young is the new regionally appointed member (RAM) for Central Region to the national board of directors of Open Bible Churches. Darrick is the lead pastor of Journey Church in Urbandale, Iowa, a church that he and a team, including his family, planted in 2012. Prior to pastoring Journey, Darrick served full time in the Central Region office of Open Bible Churches for twelve years as the director of student ministries. He continues to serve as the Church Planting Director for Central Region and has been a member of the Central Region board for sixteen years. He has also served on the board of New Hope Christian College, as the National Youth Director for Open Bible Churches, and as a previous at-large member of the National Board of Open Bible Churches. In addition, he serves as coordinator for national Open Bible conventions. Darrick and his wife, Ranada, live in Grimes, Iowa, and have two adult children, Brandon and Taylor.
