On August 2, Christian Life Center, an Open Bible church in Bend, Oregon, and its lead pastor, Daniel L. LeLaCheur, and executive pastor, Anthony Lee, hosted the tour in their outdoor Life Amphitheater. The natural outdoor amphitheater was filled to capacity as nearly 7,000 people gathered for the evangelism event, some parking as far away as two miles. Franklin shared the story from Daniel 5 of King Belshazzar’s idolatry and Daniel’s purity and explained that idolatry continues today as modern culture prioritizes sports, celebrities, and relationships over God. Jeremy Camp and several other musicians filled the stadium with powerful worship and music. More than 450 people made commitments to follow Christ. Franklin Graham preaches to a crowd of around 7,000 people. Anthony Lee spoke ecstatically about the results: It was a surreal event that day. Through the power of the Holy Spirit working in the lives of the people in Bend and surrounding areas, lives were changed forever. As Franklin Graham shared a powerful message, you could sense the move of the Holy Spirit across Life Amphitheater. It was such an honor to have our facility used to touch the Kingdom. Dan LeLaCheur said: <There are times we have brought in some wonderful big names. But this one we didn’t “go get.” They came to us. The fruit of souls saved gave worth to our efforts in hosting this large crowd. The Decision America Tour was born in 2016 when Franklin Graham visited all 50 states, challenging Christians to lead lives rooted in Biblical principles and to pray earnestly for America. Graham stated: The most critical thing you can do is pray, pray, pray. The intercession of God’s people is crucial if we are to see a return to the biblical faith of our fathers, the faith that has guided and sustained our country for so long. Jeremy Camp was one of several musicians who led worship during the event.
